"The development and ongoing evolution of our website provides our 48+
member agencies with the tools to collaborate on issues affecting our community. We
are able to share ideas, support the needs of other agencies, collaborate on grants and
more. Our content management system, accessible from any Internet connection,
allows us to distribute the work flow in maintaining our activities and member database.
A centralized member database has saved us a lot of money as it is now used to automatically
generate our print directory as well."
-- Juan Castro, President, InterAgency Council
Project Summary
The InterAgency Council of Glen Cove was established in 1971 to improve the delivery of human services through cooperation, communication and coordination of community agencies. Its primary mission is to enhance the delivery of human services through collaboration and communication, and to provide mutual support among community agencies through sharing and networking.
The Next Page was commissioned to develop a professional Internet presence for the InterAgency Council of Glen Cove and to create a collaborative web space, which provides a central location for the IAC to share information with community agencies, and individuals who are interested or involved in the delivery of human services.
The initial design of this web project included several dynamic sections that can be easily administered by the IAC. TNP's web-based back office support interface provides a rich set of features to allow authorized users the ability to manage information in real-time from any Internet connection. This secured web space offers a distributed workflow environment and eliminates the redundancy of updating and maintaining data in multiple locations.
